A technical workshop on « module design » was organized on 22 and 23 of June 2016, in VNUA, Hanoi. The workshop was hosted by the faculty of Food Science and Technology.
The aim of this workshop was to train the Asian partners of the ASIFOOD project to the different steps needed to design a curricula.
The participants (29), including the trainer, came from 5 different countries, i.e., Cambodia (2), Thailand (9), Vietnam (15), Belgium (1) and UK (1). The trainer was Dr Peter Ho, from University of Leeds (UK),  School of Food Science and Nutrition.
The trainer organized group activity to apply the different steps of module design to 3 training modules in the field of food safety. These steps are mainly defining learning outcomes, module content, matching learning outcomes and module contents, selecting teaching and assessment strategies.
The work done during these group activities will be very helpful for the coming tasks of the ASIFOOD project.
