Agreenium, the French Agricultural, Veterinary and Forestry Institute is committed to supporting innovation, research, and education policy in the agricultural sciences, animal health, food, health, forestry, water, and landscape sectors

The primary goal of Agreenium is to promote cooperation between its members in compliance with the spheres of cooperation identified by the law: cooperation on agricultural education, veterinary cooperation, teacher training and management of agricultural education.

Agreenium brings its members together around common education and research strategies to carry out projects in the national, European, and international sphere. This cooperation facilitates the coordination of members’ policies and activities. The coordination includes the educational program in those areas covered by the supervisory ministry and renewing the framework of the veterinary curriculum.

The purpose of Agreenium is to achieve synergy between higher education and research in the agricultural, veterinary, forestry, and landscape sectors in order to raise its visibility at the international level.

The French law n°2014-1170, called “loi d’avenir pour l’agriculture, l’alimentation et la forêt” of 13 October 2014, established the French Agricultural, Veterinary and Forestry Institute in order to create guidelines for the future of agriculture, food, and forestry. The decree of 30 March 2015 specifies the execution of the law.
